this is kind of two long awatied posts in one, first about the rubies and then about studio. i might have mentioned both bands before.
the rubies are pretty good, they are similar to chromatics but more poppy and less nostalgic. theyre from somewhere in europe which is i guess why theyre not famous in america yet, if in fact they arent. sometimes they sound like feist too which might be my imagination because the rubies girl made the last feist album cover.

i just wanted to explain the rubies first because this song is a remix. im talking a lot about it because it is so good and i wanted to set it up kind of.
then studio is a band i know less about but have listened to equally much, which is a considerable amount. the first time i heard about them boss james was telling me about this really expensive record he wanted to buy and i found it on the internet for considerably cheap if you know what i mean.
theyre really good but hard to listen to and only listen to them, like just focus on the music. you want to plant flowers or draw a picture on your computer or something at the same time, but doing that and being distracted makes you appreciate the music that much more.
or for example i have a cd called mozart for the mind and i have listened to it a lot a lot but every time is because i am writing a paper, but that doesnt mean i dont love it and wasnt one of the best 10 dollars i spent probably.
so dont expect this song to be that great if youre just listening on zshare, go put it on your ipod and walk the dog when you listen to it, or watch people on the train and listen to it thats another good one. ultimately this is my favorite kind of music, not rap or not rap, but watching people on the train music. so for me, this is an exceptional song.
