this guy asher roth (myspace) has been getting some hype lately. i’ve been listening to his recent mixtape, the green house effect, and i definitely like how he spits but i’m not sure if i’m sold on his jewish college kid swagger. download that ish at 2dopeboyz here. he sounds a lot like eminem except, instead of rapping about killing his mother, asher raps about frat parties and bong rips.

OK this song has been around for a minute but i think it was only released lately. he sounds comfortable on the mic, rattling off lyrics with banker’s club references, condom techniques and beer pong etiquette. he even chants “chug” at the end. the song has all the ingredients of a frat party anthem but i think i’d have to be drizz already to sing along. the weezer sample makes moves though.
